This is if you have a neoHub.
This is usually caused by one of the neoAir range of running out of batteries and therefore if it is left long enough, could go through a factory reset. When this happens TIMER ON/OFF will disappear from the thermostat. If you have the UH8-RF wiring centre or the original RF Switch, the heating may also start to come on for 12 minutes every hour until the thermostat.
On the Heatmiser Neo App:
On the App, go to Home and Edit, press the - sign next to the heating zone which was linked to the hot water and delete the zone.
You will need to factory reset the neoAir, however you will need to be careful on what receiver you are using.
On the Thermostat:
- How to Factory Reset a neoAir and connect to an RF Switch
- How to Factory Reset a neoAir when connected to an RF Switch V2
- How To Factory Reset a neoAir which is connected to a UH8-RF wiring centre. If one of the stats connected to the UH8-RF shows 00 01 RA in the P2 settings, have a look at I have a neoAir that does not connect to a UH8-RF but another one does
- How to Factory Reset a neoAir which is connected to the UH8-RF V2 wiring centre
Test the stat communicates with the receiver by turning the heating up and down and make sure that the receiver responds.
On the App:
To Add back on to the App, go to the Home Screen and press + Follow the instructions and add the heating zone, it should appear twice, the second with Timer afterwards, you can then go into Edit and press the - sign and rename it hot water.
If the thermostat fails to add, send an email to support@heatmiser.com from the email address you use to log into the App with, with subject FAO NeoAir will not pair on App and we will provide further instructions.
