Heatmiser Thermostats don't use on/off times, they use Comfort Levels.
Rather that turning your heating on and off, comfort levels let you program different temperatures throughout the day. This method offers more control of your heating and is proven to be more energy efficient.
Here is a typical example of how you may program your heating.
- 08.00 - 20
- 09.00 - 16
- 17.00 - 21
- 23.00 - 15
In this example, the Heatmiser Thermostat would maintain 20C between 08.00 and 09.00 From 09.00 - 17.00 the set temperature would be 16C - whilst you are away from home.
When you return, the heating would maintain 21C from 17.00 - 23.00
At 23.00 the heating would reduce to 15C and this temperature would be maintained until the 1st programmed time the following morning
If you don't want to use all levels, you can set --.-- for the time which disables the level.
