You can check if it is a Slimline RF V3 by doing the following:
- Hold down the power button to turn the thermostat off
- Hold down the clock button until you see 00 01 on the screen
- Keep tapping the clock button
- If it loops round at 10 it is a Slimline RF V3
- If it loops round at 17 then it is a Slimline RF or Slimline RF V2

On the UH8-RF V2 wiring centre
- Hold the channel button until the zone light flashes and release your finger
- Zone light should continue to flash
On the Slimline RF V3
- While powered off hold down the H button until you see P1
- Press H again.
Light should go out on the UH8-RF V2,
- Tap the power button on the Slimline RF V3

Turn the heating up and press A to get the flame icon
Confirm pairing complete when zone light comes on UH8-RF V2
