These error codes are when the neoStat is looking for a temperature sensor but cannot find it.
E0
The Internal Sensor that measures the temperature has failed. It is a faulty thermostat.
E1
- The remote FLOOR sensor has not been connected.
- The remote FLOOR sensor has not been wired correctly the probe should be wired into RT1 and - in the back of the thermostat.
- neoStat version 1 can only use 10K3A1 probes
- neoStat version 2 can use 10K3A1, 12K3A1 or 15K3A1 probes
- The remote FLOOR probe is faulty.
E2
- The remote AIR probe has not been wired correctly it should be wired into RT2 and - in the back of the thermostat
- The remote AIR probe is faulty.
- There is no wired remote probe fitted.
The E1/E2 codes usually occur at install. If you get one of these codes come up and you are certain that you do not have a probe fitted, for example if it is water based heating and the thermostat is in the room, it is possible that the Settings have been changed accidently giving you this error message.
Please note if you have Electric underfloor heating and you get an E1 error message, contact an electrician as a floor probe must be fitted. This would also apply if you have wood engineered flooring.
