How to get the display back on the neoAir.
- On the underside of the thermostat, there is a battery tray.
- Push upwards to release the tray
- Pull the tray out
- Replace the 4x AAA batteries
- Push the tray back in until you can here a click
- Display should then come on
Still no display?
- Remove the batteries,
- Make sure that the batteries are around the right way round
Make sure that contacts are touching both the front and the back of the batteries
- Clean the underside of the battery tray with a dry cloth
Still no display or the battery tray is jammed?
- If you look to the left and right of the battery tray at the top, there is two white slots, they will be in the second grove down, see pictures below.
Get a small screwdriver on each side and push into these slots
The front of the unit will unclip from the back plate.
- Turn the front plate round,
- Direct centre will be three copper pins
With your screwdriver, push them up, you may not feel them move
- This is to improve the contact between the pins and the battery tray
- Clip the front of the neoAir back on by clipping the top first and leaver the front down
- Put the batteries back on and then test.
Still no display?
- If you have another neoAir, swap the battery tray with another unit to see if it is the tray or the thermostat is faulty.
