This may need to be done if you have a new neoHub or if your original neoHub has gone through a factory reset.
This applies for the version 1 neoStat range: The neoStat, neoStat-e, neoStat-hw or neoStat 12v. These have a white screen with SETUP in the bottom right corner. There will be a single screw on the underside.
Also for the version 2 range: The neoStat V2, neoStat-e V2, neoStat-hw V2 or neoStat 12v V2. These have a blue screen, no setup in the bottom right corner. There will be a single screw on the underside.
This guide is not for a battery powered neoAir which has a battery tray with 4 AAA batteries.
First off all, check if an external probe has been fitted.
Check for external probe:
For neoStat V1 range (blue screen with SETUP in bottom right corner).
- Use the left and right keys to go to SETUP
- Press tick
- Up arrow to make small number 06, make a note of large number if it is not 00. You will need this later.
- Press tick
For neoStat V2 range (white screen, no SETUP in bottom right corner)
- Use the left and right keys to go to the power icon on the left
- Press and hold tick until you see SETUP and CLOCK
- Press tick
- Up arrow to make small number 06, make a note of large number if it is not 00. You will need this later.
- Press tick
The factory reset:
For neoStat V1 range (blue screen with SETUP in bottom right corner)
- Move the box back over to SETUP
- Press and hold tick until all icons appear
- Choose 1 if it is a heating zone
- Choose 2 if it is a timer zone, for example a towel rail or a hot water controller.
- Press tick
For neoStat V2 range (white screen no SETUP in bottom right corner)
- Go to the power icon on the left
- Press and hold tick until you see SETUP and CLOCK
- Press and hold tick while the box is over SETUP.
- Choose 1 if it is a heating zone
- Choose 2 if it is a timer zone, for example a towel rail or a hot water controller.
- Press tick
