The RF Switch looks like the following, it has CH1, CH2 and HW buttons with red LED lights above which will show lit when a zone calls for heating, plus a permanent red power light on the right hand side.
You can reset a zone by holding down the channel number until you get 4 quick flashes
You can identify if you are using the Slimline RF or RF V2 by doing the following:
- Press and hold the power button until the unit switches off.
- Tap the clock button
- If the number goes up to 17 before looping round, you have a Slimline RF or Slimline RF V2
- If the number goes up to 10 before looping round, you have a Slimline RF V3
- Tap A to go back to a blank screen
On the Slimline RF or Slimline RF V2
- Press and hold the power button until the unit switches off.
- Tap the clock button until the small number goes to 06
- Use the up arrow to make the large number 01
- Tap the clock button to make the small number 07
- Use the up and down keys to set a large number (if you are using multiple stats and receivers, this number will need to be different, otherwise you could have multiple receivers trigger at the same time as they are on the same channel.
Press A and screen will go blank.
To go through the pairing process
- Press and hold the CH1 (or CH2 if that is what you are controlling) button on the RF Switch until it flashes
- On the thermostat press and hold the A button until you get the large flashing number (this is the same number you have set on Feature 07)
- The CH1 light will go out.
- Tap the power button, maybe twice to turn the thermostat back on.
- Turn the heating up and press A so you see the flame,
- The channel light should come on the receiver.
If you are to pair two Slimline RF/V2 to the same receiver, you would need to set feature 07 as a different number to the first.
If you are using a Slimline RF V3
- Press and hold CH1 (or CH2 if that is what you are controlling on the receiver until the light flashes
- Press and hold the power button on the Slimline RF V3 until it powers off.
- Press and hold the H button until you see P1
- Press H again.
- Light should go out on the RF Switch
- Tap the power button, maybe twice to turn the thermostat back on.
- Turn the heating up and press A so you see the flame,
- The channel light should come on the receiver.
