None of the Heatmiser thermostats have the model number listed on the front. They will only have Heatmiser written on the units. The only way to identify is either to look at the user manual. The model number will be listed on the front cover.
All of our thermostats will have a model number listed on the back of the unit. This is where the wires go into the wall. Or if there are battery powered it will be on the back.
In either case, you would need to take the front of the units off the wall to identify.
You can also use the Manual Finder that has images of our products (active and discontinued) as well as tips on how to identify.
If you are still unable to locate the part number, follow these steps;
- Take a photo of the thermostat showing the display.
- Write a summary of what the thermostat is controlling, such as wet underfloor heating or electric heating.
- Let us know if you have a NeoHub, TouchPad, Netmonitor or integration with Control4

NeoStat/NeoAir
- The neoAir and neoAir V2 have light touch buttons at the bottom
- The neoAir V3 has physical buttons at the bottom
- The buttons are Left, Tick, Right, Down and Up
- The first generation neo has SETUP in the bottom right hand side.
- Mains powered neoStats have a single screw at the bottom
- Battery powered neoAir thermostats have a battery tray at the bottom with 4AAA batteries.
- Unless you have a WIFI sticker at the bottom, you would need a neoHub for App control.

Battery powered neoAir thermostat can control heating and an extra timer zone like hot water, will also show TIMER ON/OFF as well as temperature.
If the thermostat is in non programmable mode:
- neoAir version 1 or the neoStat version 1 will have Power, HOLD and SETUP on the screen, CLOCK, HOLIDAY and EDIT will be missing
- neoStat V2 or V2 or neoAir V2 and V3 will just have Power and HOLD on the screen

neoStat Pro
White unit. Will appear blank unless you put your hand towards it. Unless it is connected to a neoHub Gen 2 or Gen 3, it will be a basic up and down thermostat. Full control is done through the Heatmiser Neo App.
The neoPro has the following buttons, Down, Tick and Up
It will not work with the neoHub Gen 1
neoStat Touch/neoStat Touch Carbon
Does look similar to the neoStat Touch V2, however if you were hold the power button and press SETUP if you can see a WIFI sign flashing, it means you can connect to a neoHub Gen 2 or neoHub Gen 3. Carbon model is black with blue LED.
It will not work with the existing neoHub
In Programmable Mode, the neoStat Touch will show the following icons on the screen
Power, HOLD, ADVANCE, HOLIDAY, EDIT and SCREEN
In Non Programmable Mode it will show the following on the screen
Power, HOLD and SCREEN.
Has the option to do an additional timer, for example Hot Water, will then display TIMER ON/OFF as well as temperature.
neoStat Touch V2/neoStat Touch Carbon
Very similar to the neoStat Touch V2, however cannot be connected to a neoHub. In the SETUP menu, if you do not see a WIFI sign flashing, it is not App compatible. Again the Carbon model is black with blue LED.
In Programmable Mode, the neoStat Touch will show the following icons on the screen
Power, HOLD, ADVANCE, HOLIDAY, EDIT and SCREEN
In Non Programmable Mode it will show the following on the screen
Power, HOLD and SCREEN.
neoStat WIFI

Looks very similar to the neoStat V2, however on the underside of the thermostat as well as a single screw, there will be a WIFI sticker. This can connect to the Heatmiser Neo App without a neoHub. Suitable for water based heating only.
It has the following buttons
Left, Tick, Right down and Up
In Programmable Mode the following icons will show on the screen
Power, HOLD, HOLIDAY and EDIT
In Non Programmable Mode, the following icons will show on the screen
Power, HOLD
Edge
Has Up, Down, Tick, Left and Right buttons on the side. Cannot be used with the neoHub.
Slimline/PRT
- Six buttons along the bottom.
- The buttons are Power, Clock, H, A, Down and Up
- You cannot connect a Slimline or PRT with a neoHub.
- Either came as powered or battery powered which was controlled by two AA batteries.
- The older Slimline/PRT models had red plastic between the first 3 buttons and the second 3 buttons.
- If there was an additional TIMER ON/OFF, it meant it had a secondary control, for example Hot Water.

Smart Stat
Discontinued thermostat for water based heating
Has a Left, Tick, Right, Down and Up buttons, however the buttons are raised and slightly curved at the bottom.
App control now discontinued.
