You need to get the ID number of the UH8-RF
There should be a sticker filled out by the engineer on top of the UH8-RF. If it hasn't been filled out and you don’t have the pairing information, you’ll need to open up the UH8-RF.
If you’re unsure, it’s best to have an electrician handle this. To open the wiring centre, remove the two screws on the left and right, then open the front panel. Make sure the power is off, and avoid touching the circuit board.
Once the panel is open, you’ll see two small rotary dials at the top of the wiring centre.
Both numbers represent the channel number. So, in this example, since both the Tens and Unit dials point to 9, the channel number will be 99.
If you're using the neoAir V2 or V3 (white screen, no SETUP in the bottom right corner):
- Use the left and right keys to go to the power icon on the left.
- Press and hold the tick button until you see SETUP and CLOCK.
- Press the tick button, and you'll see 01 in the top right corner.
- Press the down button twice until you see P2.
- Press the tick button.
- Use the up and down buttons to change the large value to match the rotary dials.
- Press the tick button.
- Use the up and down buttons to change the small number to 09.
- Press the tick button.
- Make sure the two letters are set to RA.
- Press the tick button.
- Test the neoAir by pressing the up button to set a time like 30 minutes, then press tick.
- You should see TIMER ON on the neoAir.
- About 20 seconds later, the hot water light should come on the UH8-RF.
If you're using the neoAir V1 (blue screen with SETUP in the bottom right corner):
- Use the left and right keys to move over to SETUP, which will be in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Press the tick button, and you'll see 01 in the top right corner.
- Press the down button twice until you see P2.
- Press the tick button.
- Use the up and down buttons to change the large value to match the rotary dials.
- Press the tick button.
- Use the up and down buttons to change the small number to 09.
- Press the tick button.
- Make sure the two letters are set to RA.
- Press the tick button.
- Test the neoAir by pressing the up button to set a time like 30 minutes, then press tick.
- You should see TIMER ON on the neoAir.
- About 20 seconds later, the hot water light should come on the UH8-RF.
