An update rolling out this week (W/C 6th April 2020) will mean neoHub Gen 2 users will be able to set heating levels with a 0.5°C resolution. This allows you to more accurately control the temperature in your home.
How do I know if I have a Gen 2 Hub?
If you look on the bottom of the neoHub, you will see a part number label. On this label, you are looking for "2nd Generation" If you don't see this, it means your neoHub is a Gen 1 and unfortunately doesn't support 0.5°C control.
I have neoStat v1, are they supported?
Providing you have a neoHub Gen 2 then yes, your neoStat v1 will support 0.5°C control. They work a little different to the neoStat v2 model as they don't have 0.5°C resolution on screen. This means if you are looking to set a temperature to 0.5°C, you should use the neoApp. When using the neoStat v1 interface, you will only be able to view / edit to the nearest 1°C
I have neoStat v2, are they supported?
Yes, you have full 0.5°C Set point control on the device and via the app. You will still require a neoHub Gen 2 on the system in order for your devices to obtain the firmware update.
How do I get the update?
The update will be applied automatically to your system so you don't need to do anything. When you notice the centre temperature dial in your app shows 0.5°C you have the update and you are ready to adjust your profiles to benefit from the tighter control 0.5°C offers. For new systems, the update will take a few days to reach your system - this is normal.
