NeoHub Red Link Light or No Link Light
If it has worked previously
Firstly, I would advise rebooting the neoHub, take the power lead out and then back in again. Whatever you do, don’t hold down the connect button on the neoHub, otherwise you will reset the neoHub. Normally the link light will come on Red but should then switch to Amber or Green. Then try it on the App again.
Make sure that the power lead is going into mains and not into a USB port on another device such as your router. The reason for this is having it connected to another device may not give the neoHub enough power.
Make sure that the ethernet connection is secure, take the ethernet cable out of the back of the neoHub and your router and then put them back in again. It needs to be in one of the yellow LAN ethernet ports on your router, ensure it is not plugged into a WAN port. You should see lights flicking on the router showing it is connected. In addition, when the ethernet cable is plugged back into the neoHub, you should see orange and green lights flickering. If this does not work, try another port on your router.
If you are using a switch, that can cause issues, the easiest way to test this is to bypass the switch and plug the neoHub directly into your router.
The next step I would suggest is to reboot both the neoHub and the router.
If it has never worked or the router has been changed.

If this is not the case, you may need to get your broadband provider to open the following ports on your router.
- 8000
- 433
- 123
- 2424
After these ports are open, the link light should go green.
If the link light remains red, you could have a faulty power adaptor or power lead. Try the lead in a different power adaptor which plugs into your mains. The replacement cable is a MiniUSB A to B cable. The power adaptor is 5V 1A.
